The big pic at the top, is Carol fishing Pauley Creek just below Gold Valley in 1975. The water is deeper than it looks and runs ice cold all year long. You can actually drink the water without worry. This was also Carol's and 2 of our kid's, Victor and Connie's first trip to Gold Valley. The 1st of July we started at 8 AM and worked over 9 miles of frozen snow pack getting into the Valley. Once in a while we would break through the snow crust and have to be pulled out, our use the winch's on the Jeep's. Our good friends, Lee and Dorothy and their kids, Denice, Lee Jr. and Karen made the trip with us. We got into the Valley at 4 PM.
This page is Photograph's of The family and Photograph's of Gold Valley. Maybe some other Photograph's from other places.

Some people think that remembering a loved one brings back bad memories, some yes, but most like me enjoy remembering the good fun times we had with Carol. I smile and laugh as I remember while telling a funny story. Yes, Carol also Loved and Cared for everyone, family, friends and people she just met.
Thank You Vicky for your Rememberance of Mom.

Vicky Remembers:
It was always the 4th of July the family would get together for the family reunion. We would play many outdoor games. Mom's favorite game was volleyball. I remember one year when we all were playing. We had a good game going. My daughter Carole hit the volleyball like she was playing her soccer game. It went sailing over the net and hit Mom right in the face. We all saw it and stopped playing and ran to her. She got mad at us and said, "come on lets play! I'm fine!" She kept playing. Nothing would stop her from playing.
By the way, she was in her 50's and definitely out did most of us when it came to volleyball.
