There were many obstacles I had to bear, But it was easy knowing my family was there. You were my strength helping me make it through, Whatever I learned I learned from you. You taught me about life and making dreams come true, To give it all I had whatever I would do.
Precious moments with Mom at the organ and me on my CB, Getting her going as I came through each key. With ginger ale in hand filling my thrist, Laughing as Mom hit the keys I thought I would burst. Then off to Buger King once a week with Dad, Time with he and Connie adding more to treasured times I had.
With Irv and Auntie Nancy CB meetings were a go, Rich always by my side I loved him so. The words Bubble Butt will stay with me forever, You as usual always being so clever. Carol brought even more love into our life, God blessed you the day he made her your wife.
I guided you at the curve, "yes that was me," I was with you then as I always will be. God keeps us close more than you know And I will be with you wherever you go. I am at a different CB in another place, I don't have to be there for you to see my face.
"This is Big Oley coming your way Thats a big 10-4 you will hear me say. You can't see me but you know I am there. And I will always be I haven't gone anywhere. You I could see through a photograph album in my mind, Both the faces of family and friends were easy to find.
We all have a book stored deep within the heart, With pictures keeping us close whether near or apart. Everyday we shared is stored within that book, Take a moment anytime relax and take a look. I'm here now with Carol and I found a new friend, Her name is Pat and we'll all meet again in the end.
